During 1900's or before, if i had told you that women wanted to be in the military and fight for our nation, like they do for their families everyday, everyone would have laughed at me.
We were dominated by the stereotype that only men are eligible to work and take up education. While women were suitable only for house chores. Years passed, we came across many strong voiced women like Ida B. Wells, Sylvia Rivera, Malala, Kamala Bhasin and many around the globe. Women were motivated and strive to win their equality back.
Both the World war 1 and World war 2, had been fought with strong and brave women out in the field.
Many of the greatest wars were fought by women, who were once told not to even step out of the house. The concept of exclusion of women due to them not being physically strong as men has been broken to pieces by now.
Fighting for their equality and self, many women were injured, killed and awarded high honors.
As time went by, women had almost become equal to men. From managing businesses to being a housewife they are perfect at multitasking.
Women equality is a fascinating topic that's grasps our attention these days. Rallies and protests have achieved their purpose of giving women their equal rights.
These took a turn when the concept of 'Feminism' came by.
Feminism, aiming to define and establish social equality 'between the sexes', has somehow been misunderstood as fighting for superiority over men.
Then came the Feminists and the Anti feminists, and the people that had come together to fight for equality, had been divided.

The whole point of Feminism has gone down the drain when it was used to frame the other gender of rape, assault or violence. In the name of feminism anything could be done to a man, only because there are men out there who cause unimaginable pain and suffering to many girls and women regardless.
As much as we appreciate a woman for being equal to a man we laugh at a man who takes up the responsibilities of a woman. In the same society where women are victims of misogyny, rape, assault, sexism and other unjust actions, men are too. But that seems to be invisible to many eyes.
I am neither a feminist nor an anti feminist. And this is not about feminism or who is better or superior. I am just a human being sharing my thoughts and how i feel about certain things. Feminism is equality and that is what should be fought for.
