Fashion vs Gender stereotypes

A few days ago, I posted two polls on my Instagram story. first, I posted a picture of a man in a dress and asked my followers if they thought it was appropriate. next, I posted a picture of a female model wearing a suit and asked them if they thought THAT was appropriate. just like I expected, there were more people saying that the woman's choice of clothing was more appropriate than the man's choice to wear a dress. this made me realize how narrow-minded our world still is.

Women get away with wearing "manly'" clothes every day. they're praised for being "different" and they're encouraged to express themselves in unconventional ways. men, on the other hand, aren't shown the same appreciation when they wear "feminine" clothes.

Fashion is a form of self-expression and people shouldn't be put down because of how they choose to express themselves.
